We collect the following types of information: • Account information: email address and encrypted password when you create an account. • Dream journal data: dream titles, content, mood, and tags that you voluntarily enter. • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device/browser information collected via Google Analytics. • Cookies: small files stored on your device to maintain your session and language preference.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: • Provide and operate the Limiary service. • Store and retrieve your dream journal entries. • Generate AI-powered dream analysis via Google Gemini API. • Improve the app through anonymized usage analytics (Google Analytics). • Communicate service updates or important notices.
4. AI Analysis & Third-Party Services
When you request dream analysis, the content of your dream is sent to Google Gemini API for processing. Please do not include sensitive personal information (real names, addresses, financial details) in your dream entries. We use the following third-party services: • Supabase — secure database and authentication • Google Gemini API — AI dream analysis • Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics • Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. Access to your data is protected by Row Level Security — only you can read or modify your own dream entries.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Request correction of inaccurate data. • Request deletion of your account and all associated data. • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data. • Data portability. 7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Limiary is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
